Open Talk logo 7:00 PM: Extended Men’s and Women’s Discussions
The members of GAAMC are very warm and thoughtful with one another and our Open Talk groups are regularly mixed with women and men sharing thoughts, philosophy and more. Now and then, there’s a common language we have where women want to share with women and men with men. This is a special evening where the women will have a discussion group and the men will have a discussion group where we can discuss the issues and questions that pertain to health, philosophy and life.

The women’s discussion will be facilitated by President Sherri Rase. The men’s discussion will be facilitated by VP for Community Services Gordon Sauer.

8:00 PM: The Role of Networking in Your Job Search
Have you been searching for a job? Have you been hitting the internet and applying online only to find your paperwork disappearing into the online "black hole?" Well, come out on April 21st and learn from Len Resto’ mistakes as he walks us through his job search successes and failures. The key to finding a job is through networking. Yes, it’s "who you know" and not so much "what you know." Come learn how to leverage your connections into a powerful network that will plug you into the job you want and in a relatively short period of time. Len will describe his journey and describe how to really use Linked In to your benefit. Come learn how to love tea and coffee because you’ll need to meet a lot of people!! Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
